THE LUNA ROSSA

$4,850 incl GST

A single, considered offering.

I believe the best wedding films come from being present, trusting instinct, and actually caring about what’s unfolding and not from choosing between packages. That’s why I offer one complete experience, designed to give your day the attention it deserves.

There are a couple of exceptions:

I do cater for elopement and micro-weddings; $2,800 incl GST depending on inclusions/add-ons.

For a multi-day celebration, a wedding that involves travel, or if you’d like to incorporate Super-8 film or an additional camera operator, I can put together an offering that fits what you’re planning.

One filmmaker. One vision. Full care from capture through to final delivery.

FAQs

What’s the difference between wedding videography and content creation?

Both capture short clips you can share on social media.

Content creation is typically focused on producing those social clips as the final product.

Wedding videography goes further: multi-camera coverage, recorded audio and structured editing to preserve your full ceremony, speeches and the complete story of your day.

With Luna Rossa, you receive both: shareable clips delivered within 24-48 hours, a Reel/TikTok-ready edit, full ceremony and speech coverage (including reactions), professionally captured and synced audio, and a crafted wedding film (feature film). You’ll also receive all usable footage organised into chapters, so you can see and hear your day again, even the moments you weren’t present for.

Do you work to set hours?

Not in the traditional sense. I cover the day properly so I’m not watching the clock or missing moments because a schedule shifts.

Flexibility is built into the way I work. If a celebration ever runs significantly longer than expected, we’ll always talk it through. There are no surprises.

Do you do elopements and micro weddings?

Yes, and they’re one of my favourite things to do. My pricing is on a case by case basis, but typical investment is $2,800 incl GST for 3 hours (depending on inclusions/extras).

Do you travel outside of Victoria? Outside of Australia?

Absolutely, and have. Often. My career has taken me all over Australia and the world and I’m happy to keep doing it. You cover the travel costs and I’m there.

How many weddings do you take on per year?

It’s a choice for me to shoot and edit all my films myself as it gives me complete creative control. This does, unfortunately mean I can’t say yes to everyone, and have a capped number of weddings per year. If you’re interested in working together, reach out sooner rather than later. Most people book 12 to 18 months, sometimes 24 months in advance, and I’d hate for you to miss out.

How far out should we book?

Ideally the day you get engaged. But realistically (and also ideally) 12 months is always a nice comfy number. Anything inside of that and things get a little hairier bookings-wise.

We’re awkward on camera. Is that OK?

Completely. Most of my couples feel this way.

My approach is calm and unobtrusive. I focus on real moments as they happen rather than directing or posing you. All you need to do is just need to be yourselves.

What is Super 8? And do you offer it?

Before phones and digital cameras, people filmed life (especially home movies) on physical strips of film. Super 8 is one of those old formats, real 8mm-wide film - that’s where the “8” comes from. Today, some wedding videographers source original 1960s Super 8 cameras and real film stock, shoot on actual film, then have it developed the old-school way and scanned to digital for editing. The result is soft, warm, slightly grainy and nostalgic.

I am one such videographer that has Super 8 camera. Adding Super 8 to your day is easy. I generally like to use approx. two rolls per wedding (approx 6 minutes of footage in total). There is an extra cost for this given the hard costs for me to get the film specially developed.

Do we get a say in the edit? Can we choose the music?

I take the lead creatively, but I’m always guided by what matters to you.

Before the wedding, we’ll talk through tone, pacing, and what you’re most excited to remember. The edit is crafted with intention rather than back-and-forth revisions.

The music is fully licensed from independent artists and is all yours, and only yours. Commercial music is prohibitively expensive - upwards of $10k per song - so isn’t really viable unfortunately (as much as I’d love to use Marvin Gaye’s back catalogue in every wedding video!)

When will we receive the film and footage?

You’ll get an edited sneak peek 24-48 hours in both vertical aspect (19:6 suitable for social media/phones) and landscape (wide, 4:3 aspect for TV/computer screen). You’ll also receive selected content clips you can use to create your own edit, or just to re-visit and share behind the scenes from the day.

Turnaround times for the full edited video, full footage, speeches and ceremony vary depending on the season, but is typically delivered within a few months of your wedding.

I’ll always keep you informed, and nothing is rushed for the sake of speed. Quality over quantity is very intentional. Delivery can be fast-tracked where circumstances allow, so please do ask.

How does payment work?

So that I don’t add to the overwhelm of invoices pouring in during the final month of your wedding, I offer a 2-2-1 split. An initial deposit to lock in the date, followed by another payment to be made 60 days ahead of the big day. The final payment is to be made upon the delivery of your socials teaser which I deliver 24-48 hours following your wedding.

All that to say, the advantage of it being my business means I can be entirely flexible here and I am open to a payment plan that works for you.

What are the next steps?

If this experience feels aligned, the next step is simply a conversation. We’ll talk through your plans, see if it feels like a good fit, and take things from there.
